Apart from being professionally qualified, our pharmacists have received specialized "Old Age Home Medication Management" Training Programme, which provides the knowledge and communication skills in drug safety management of old age homes.

Our Work

Regular follow-up on drug problems to enhance treatment effect

Our job includes:

♦ Reducing medication error: prevents adverse reactions related to drug use, improves drug compliance and enhances the efficacy of medications.

♦ Clinical pharmaceutical service: communicate and cooperate with medical professionals from hospitals, the Department of Health, and the Social Welfare Department.

♦ Continuing drug education: provide medication courses, discussion and training for workers in old-age homes.

Establishing safe medication management system: help old-age homes to follow guidelines in managing drugs, including storage, dispensing, disposal and keeping record.

♦ Provide professional advice: Based on the Social Welfare Department's regulations for residential care homes for the elderly and the Department of Health's "Guidelines on Medication Management in Residential Care Homes for the Elderly", improve medication management procedures for the homes, including drug storage, dispensing, distribution, and related records.
